Apple Card Monthly Installments

The introduction of Apple Card revolutionized the purchasing process for Apple products, and had to be seamlessly integrated into the entire buy flow experience.

The introduction of Apple Card brought about a significant shift in the purchasing process for Apple products, requiring seamless integration within the entire buy flow experience. Collaborating closely with UX, copy, legal, and engineering teams, we ensured a smooth and cohesive customer journey.

From guiding customers through the learning phase to facilitating the application process, buy flow, and checkout experience, our collective effort resulted in a streamlined and user-friendly experience for Apple Card users.

This was truly an exercise in hierarchy and language. It affected any moment a user is presented with a value, Trade-In, Get Ready, and the application process.

Together with the brand team, we worked to visually distinguish the new payment method and meticulously craft compelling copy that effectively communicated the unique payment structure to customers. By combining visual elements and engaging language, we ensured that the benefits and features of this innovative payment option were clearly conveyed, ultimately enhancing the overall user experience.

We updated the payment ledger in various scenarios, such as the product detail page, shopping bag, and application process. Our focus was on effectively communicating key information related to the Apple Monthly Payments option, including the monthly payment amount, total amount financed, and the amount due at checkout.

Ensuring the clarity and visibility of these details was essential in providing users with a clear understanding of their payment options throughout their shopping journey.

We also redesigned monthly print statement, aiming to clearly communicate payment information in a more easily digestible format. The content and hierarchy were thoughtfully arranged to provide a clear understanding of the amount due, the user's minimum payment, and the due date.

Additionally, we carefully considered the nuanced behaviors related to missed minimum payments and their respective effects. Furthermore, we incorporated additional content and behaviors, such as Apple's 3% Cash Back and returned purchases, ensuring comprehensive coverage in the detailed print statement.
